The location was easy to find, with plenty of parking available. the interior of the accommodation was rustic and pretty, adding to the charm.
The noise level was unbearable due to the nearby school. From 7am onwards, the constant noise of cars and children playing made it difficult to relax and enjoy the stay.

The second room we stayed in at De Oude Schuur was lovely – clean - well-equipped, and close to the vineyards. The owners were very helpful - going out of their way to assist us with printing and scanning a legal document. The location was fantastic - surrounded by beautiful trees and a relaxed atmosphere.
Recommend.

We stayed at a lovely hotel with a great location. The decor was beautiful and we had the option of a private garden with a braai. The quiet surroundings and the fact that the host didn't bother us were wonderful. I also loved the antique surroundings and even saw a bunny. The room may have been a bit small, but with the stoep and braai area, it was more than fine. The privacy and room size were perfect for me and my husband. We would definitely stay at this resort again. we were more than satisfied.
100% Recommend this hotel.

On the plus side, the location was perfect and easy to find, situated in a safe area. there was a convenient next-door establishment that allowed easy access to the property after returning from an event. there were a variety of pet-friendly restaurants close by for those looking to enjoy a meal with their furry companions.
The lack of privacy due to the bathroom's proximity to the front door was quite inconvenient.

The location is peaceful, with no noise from passing cars. The private garden and large kitchen table add a cozy feel. The provision of braai facilities and a night light during a power outage is appreciated. Cleaning staff is friendly and provides necessary supplies. The room has all necessary amenities and good wifi. The host is welcoming and kind. It's conveniently close to a wedding venue with clear instructions for late access. The property is surrounded by vineyards, with an antique store and restaurant nearby. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is amazing. The kitchen facilities and outdoor patio are nice. Complimentary fruit, yogurt, and coffee are a lovely touch. It's a quiet, budget-friendly option for visiting Stellenbosch without sacrificing style.

Stayed at a place called De Oude Schuur, but it turned out to be a daycare next to my cottage. No mention of that. On the bright side, the location was perfect and easy to find.
Oh, just a noisy daycare right next to my cottage. No big deal.

We had a fantastic stay at De Oude Schuur. the kitchen was well stocked and we loved being able to use the braai area with charcoal provided. the hosts were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in late and even granting a late check-out. the Stable room was well equipped with amenities like an iron, hairdryer, and electric blanket. We appreciated the open shower and the curtain that provided privacy without sacrificing the spaciousness of the room. the staff and other guests on the property were friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. the location was convenient for visiting De Zalze Golf Club and exploring the area.
Nothing, all great! 👍

What an incredible stay! The location was perfect, and we absolutely adored the beautiful lavender bushes nearby. The cottage itself was so cute and cozy, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast, prepared by the amazing chef, was mind-blowing. We also loved having access to Netflix and the excellent shower. it was a super stay and we were blown away by the attention to detail and top-notch service provided. Highly recommended!
